No appointment is necessary for our self-service dog wash.
Self-serve dog washes must begin 30 minutes prior to closing time.
Hagerstown Community College uses our Hagerstown Self Serve Dog Wash for a grooming course from February through August and the self-serve dog wash is CLOSED on THURSDAYS at 3:30 PM during those months. The store is still open at regular hours.
SELF SERVICE DOG WASH PRICES
TOY BREEDS: $8
Includes most toy and miniature breeds such as Chihuahua, Chinese
Crested, Dachshund, Fox Terrier, Italian Greyhound, Mini Pinscher, Toy
Poodle, Pekingese, Pomeranian, Rat Terrier, Yorkie.
SMALL DOGS: $10
Guideline: Dogs 10 to 30 pounds.
Includes most small breeds such as Beagle, Bishon Frise, Boston
Terrier, Jack Russell Terrier, Cairn Terrier, King Charles Spaniel,
Lhasa Apso, Maltese, Pug.
MEDIUM DOGS: $12
Guideline: Dogs 30 to 50 pounds.
Includes most “average” size dogs or larger size dogs with short coats
such as AmStaff Terrier, Bassett Hound, Border Collie, Weimaraner,
Boxer, Bulldog, Bull Terrier, Cocker Spaniel, English Cocker,
Dalmatian, Foxhound, Miniature Schnauzer, Shar-Pei.
LARGE DOGS: $14
Guideline: Dogs 50 to 80 pounds.
Big dogs with medium coats, including Husky, Australian Shepherd,
Bloodhound, Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Collie, Coonhound, Doberman,
Giant Schnauzer, Golden Retriever, Greyhound, Irish Setter, Keeshond,
Labrador Retriever, Pointer, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Rottweiler, Standard
Poodle.
EXTRA LARGE / DOUBLE COATED DOGS: $16
Guideline: Dogs 80+ pounds and/or Double Coated.
Includes the largest breeds and/or ones with thick undercoats such as
Afghan, Akita, Bernese Mountain Dog, Chow, Eskimo, German Shepherd,
Great Dane, Great Pyrenees, Irish Wolfhound, Malamute, Mastiff,
Newfoundland, Sheepdog.
Mixed Breeds: (i.e. the typical pound pup of unknown breeding) are
charged by the size and/or coat type he most closely matches in the
breed list and descriptions above. Dogs with thick undercoats may be
pushed up into the next price range than the category weight
guidelines.
- Skunk Dogs: There is an additional $20 charge per dog if they have been sprayed with a skunk.
- Flea Infested dogs: There is an additional $20 charge per dog if they are infested with fleas.
Both of these charges help us cover the cost of extra cleanup, both labor and cleaning materials.
